These are my favorite shoes! I bought them last fall after it had already become too chilly to wear them out (that's why they were super on sale, I think they were only like $12).  I'm so excited it's finally spring and I can wear shoes other than boots! I love boots, but man am I tired of them, especially since I really only have like three pairs that I wear often.
This top I also picked up on a really good sale.  It was just a week or so ago.  PacSun had buy 3 for $15 clearance stuff, so technically this top was only $5, what a deal! lol.

Spring Mint Makeup Tutorial

     I tend to plan out my tutorials the night before, laying in bed and I can't sleep, so I think about what kind of cool makeup look I could do next, but this was not one of those times.  I had planned on doing a different mint eyeshadow tutorial eventually, but when I went to do my makeup this day, this just came into my head and I decided to film it and see how it went.  I hope you enjoy, I really love the way it turned out. :)
   I had actually reorganized my makeup the night before I filmed this look and the way I have it set up now makes everything a lot more accessible so I come across products I don't typically use all the time and it helps me to keep changing up my makeup routine.  This day I came across the Wet n Wild Turquoise liquid liner and I just had to incorporate it.

Bright Spring Makeup Tutorial

     I love the way this one turned out, it's exactly like I envisioned it.  I love wearing bright eyeshadows, but most days I don't even have the time to throw together a look like this in the morning, so I just stick to the basic boring neutral eyes on a regular basis, but on the weekends or days I just so happen to be up early, I love to experiment with my makeup more!  Gotta live it up while I'm still in college, not so appropriate to go to a real job wearing this sort of stuff. :-p

Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish - Easy Going - 300

I absolutely love this nail polish color and it has been my favorite for about a month now, but we're going to put it to the test and see how good the polish actually is in itself, not just based on the beautiful color! :-p  It's like a super light pinky-peachy color and I love it!  These polishes are super cheap, less than $2 at my local Walmart and they have sooo many colors, I've been purchasing these since I was in middle school because they are so cheap and colorful.

Wear - 2/5 - First of all, I have to mention I put Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Top Coat on top of this polish, just as an FYI.  In this particular testing session, these were my findings... The polish wore slightly at the tips after the first day & there was chipping around the edges by day 3.  So it looked good for about 2 days, which is not cool.

Formula - 4/5 - This polish totally cannot go with one coat, it is too streaky, but after the second, it's looking pretty good.  The polish is a little on the thicker side, which makes it coat pretty well and after 2 coats, it was really pretty much ready to go.  As you may know if you've read my previous polish reviews, I almost always like to do a third coat even if the second is looking good.  When I first started using it, I made the mistake of shaking the bottle pretty much right before I applied the polish, which as I now realize is a super bad idea.  I usually don't have a problem with bubbling from shaking a polish, but with this particular one, the bubbles were pretty bad.  As long as you shake the polish quite awhile before applying (15-20 mins), it turns out perfectly.

Dry Time - 4/5 - The dry time on this polish is alright, it's not super awesome, but as long as you wait for the coats to dry, it turns out really nice and doesn't take too long, but it also isn't one of the fastest polishes I've been trying lately.

Berry Champagne Makeup Tutorial

     I am totally digging the ombre lip trend whenever I have the time in the morning to accomplish it.  In this tutorial I have paired my new favorite ombre lips with a deep blush on the cheeks and a warm, neutral, yet kind of colorful eye look.  The deep berry color above the crease and the shimmery champaign color on the lid gave me the idea for the not too creative tutorial name. lol. I am no good at making up cute and clever names.  Anyway, I love the shadow combination and the lips are just my favorites right now.  I hope you enjoy these pictures and don't forget to check out the video!

Loreal Nail Color - Greycian Goddess - 560

     I really really wanted to like this polish 100%!  It dried soo quickly and had a beautiful shiny finish without the need for a top coat.  It was super pigmented and just a wonderful formula at first, but after the very first day it started to show a bit too much wear on the tips compared to other polishes I have been checking out lately and even had some (relatively) minor chipping on my thumb nail.  Then on the second day, my index fingers started chipping too, so needless to say, I was pretty disappointed with the wear on this polish, but everything else was just wonderful!  So that's really all I have to tell you on this one, but don't forget you can always use a base and top coat and hope it turns out better if you really super just need to get a Loreal polish. :)  I hope this was helpful.

Hard Candy All Lid Up Cream Eyeshadow - Stepping Stones

     Here's my review of the *new* Hard Candy All Lid Up cream eyeshadows, at least I think they're new, I've never seen them before.  The color I picked up is in 'stepping stones' and I love it.   Let's just start off by saying, if you fell asleep with this stuff on, you could wake up the next day and you're ready to go. Okay, maybe not quite flawless and ready, but this stuff is definitely crease proof, waterproof, smudge proof, it isn't going anywhere once it sets.  So let's just get down to the basics.

Pros...
-Creaseproof all day
-Sets and doesn't budge, but blendable in the first 30 secs or so
-Waterproof
-Can work as eyeliner too
-Buildable and still won't crease, you can wear it sheer or super dark and opaque
-Gorgeous color, multicolored specs
-Beautiful color selection too, I was debating on about three others before I settled for 'stepping stones'

Cons...
-at first it feels like there is a film on top of the product so you really have to run your finger into the pot to get a good color payoff the first couple times, don't get discouraged with the initial swatch, you just have to work a little harder at first to warm up the product.
-a little bit of fallout when you pack on a ton

     I hope this was helpful, to the point, and gave you a bit of insight into this product and how it worked for me personally. Boyfriend Does My Makeup TAG!

For about a week I was thinking what would be a good video to put up for my 100th Youtube Video, and one day I remembered this tag.  Of course, as usual, I wasn't tagged by anybody, but I've been wanting to film this video for awhile.  Back when I started YouTube about 6 months ago, I asked Justin to do this tag with me but he promised he would do it after 100 subscribers & I have 273 as of right now, so it's a little overdue. :-p  But I'm glad we did it for the 100th video, just to make it special.

Revlon Nail Enamel - Sunshine Sparkle 089

     This is a super pretty pastel yellow with little baby shimmers in it, that you can really only see if you're looking super close for them.  They look much more apparent in the bottle than they do on the actual nails. 

Formula/Color - 2/5 - Oh my goodness, it took way too many coats to get this nail polish opaque.  I know light pastel sorts of colors like this tend to be a pain in the butt, but 5 coats is crazy in my opinion.  It does look beautiful in the end, but there has to be another pretty yellow polish out there in the world that doesn't require me to be stuck painting my nails for an hour.  It's not only that it took so many coats, but the fact that it was so streaky is part of the reason I had to apply so many coats.  Even at 3 coats, it was still too streaky to leave be. 

Wear -2.5/5 - I did add a top coat to this polish, so the results of my wear testing may or may not be super accurate, but I just wanted to put that out there.  The top coat I used is Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri Top Coat, I did not use a base coat, and I typically don't actually.  On the third day, my thumb nails started to chip at the very edges, and there was definite wear on the tips of all my other nails, it almost looked like they were peeling, so I took this polish off.  I was not impressed with the wear time especially seeing as I wore a top coat too.

Dry time - 5/5 - This stuff did dry pretty quick and that's awesome, gotta love a polish that dries fast.

Overall, just from my experience with this one polish, it makes me not want to try any more Revlon polishes, I know there are plenty of other brands at the drugstore that are better quality for the same price range.  This polish was $3.97 at my local Walmart.  I hope this review was helpful!
