Review :: LUSH The Comforter Bubble Bar

I know everyone seems to love the "Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds" bubble bar, but I found the scent to be too hippie-esque, so I went for "The Comforter".

I actually purchased this product for my sister, but when she used it in her bath, it really irritated her skin, which is such a downer cuz now I feel like she might not want to try anything else from LUSH, seeing as this was one of her first experiences with their stuff. :(  So maybe if you have super sensitive skin, you might want to stray away from this one!  I know that if I get the dust from a Lush bath product on a scratch on my hand or whatever, it can sting, but I've never had an issue in the bath when the product has diffused in the water.

When using about 1/4 of the bar, there are plenty of bubbles to cover a regular sized bathtub.  The scent is nice as well and lingers in the bathroom for about a day or so.  The water is very pink, almost hot pink.  It feels moisturizing in the bath but I don't feel particularly moisturized afterwards.

Here's my tip for using the Comforter:
If you hold the bar in your hand under the running water, without crumbling or doing anything to it, you will get more bubbles. Just let the water slowly dissolve the bar in your hand.

  1. It's funny the way you started this post, because I have heard of more people liking Comforter (including me). I get the most bubbles by crumbling it up super small and letting it fall under the faucet.
